The Long Drive Home (Day 5)

On Sunday we packed up and thanked Grammie for a great stay and headed home. John was happy to have Daddy join us for the drive home as this meant he wasn't alone in the backseat. On the drive down whenever John would get upset I would reach back (of course after safely stopping the car ;) and try to push his paci in...but he would grab hold of my hand and instantly calm down. Totally melted my heart. So on the drive home I got to humor him with my hand as much as he wanted.


We stopped for lunch in Salado with Granddad Steve, Nona and Aunt Chrissie


And then back in the car and home sweet home!
