John is the picture of health and good eating! He gained 6 oz in the 3 days since discharge so no worries that this boy isn't getting enough grub. Dr. W was happy with everything and the lactation consultant said to continue with our current situation as it is working great.
A funny little side note, we were about 5 minutes late. As we were checking out, I apologized and the receptionist said "Don't even worry about it, we know new parents need time to adjust to the new trials of getting out of the house...believe me, you were not late." I then informed them, that yes, it was weird getting ready and leaving today and that we actually got into the car before I realized and asked "Tate, do you think we need to bring the diaper bag!?!"
